A tub to you and me
Is a boat yearning to be free
In the eyes of this skipper
No ship is fitter
To prowl the vast dark of the sea
This vessel hasn’t a crew
Or cannon, or sails, it’s true
But a captain its got
Who has thoughtfully thought
To name it: Splashy McBlue
With a darling innocent smile
She charms, but all of the while
Plans to make off with the boat
And hopes it will float
Once she frees it from all of this tile
